Komfort Workspace plc is one of Europe’s most influential designers and manufacturers of office interior products for the office, health and education markets.
Objective: To update the ageing visual identity of Komfort Office Environments plc to coincide with a change of name to Komfort Workspace plc. At the same time, several newly formed product divisions were also to be given coherent yet autonomous visual identities as part of a divisional identification system. Identity applications included stationery, location signage and vehicle livery plus a sales literature system encompassing the key product divisions.
Solution: We worked in close consultation with Komfort’s senior marketing team, initially agreeing the names for the seven main product divisions. We then produced a variety of conceptual visual treatments leading to the eventual solution, which incorporated different identifying colours for each division and defined a consistent typographical name position.
Effective: Our solution has visually repositioned Komfort as a more dynamic, modern and progressive design driven manufacturer. This has enhanced the company’s reputation amongst influential specifiers including architects and interior designers.
